After about 6 months of no update, we could only guess why google doesn’t bother. There were only some gossips running around on webmaster forums like digitalpoint or warriorforum about few website owners getting some pageranks but no real update. I didn’t really have anything to update … but got involved in some discussions on dp, and got some news on Monday “Update started 24th January”. Regardless the fact I didn’t really care, my friend had a huge list of sites that had been undergoing seo for the last six months, and had huge … rather crucial hope to this update. Unfortunately … none of the (at least) 100 sites got pageranks. I was pretty shocked … cause we both worked on those sites a lot, and keeping the sites for half a year was already too expensive (initial investments, server, ip’s, etc.). Can’t imagine any reason for the shit that happened … cause even my blog (firstblogpost.com) got PR1 :/ …

The Ads: This time apple took it to a huge next step in the marketing business: by referring to “user trust” as main success key to a profitable ad. By offering the user the feeling of freedom of controlling ads, and giving the opportunity to easily navigate and restore previous apps, apple gave users the motivation to click on the ads without any restraint.

The new HTML5 which is used in apps will offer new opportunities for application creators and advertisers  with new live functions uploaded directly from apple server and lots of new creative ideas.

The Apps: Apple offers 60% revenue to app creators, making application business easier and more profitable.

As I heard google’s preparing a nice surprise for our Halloween party. The update will be launched exactly on Halloween. That’s a nice surprise but remember that you should read my posts for preparing updates if you want a nice pagerank.

After some calculations about the previous updates and google’s history … probably the next page rank update will be made in September of the 2009. Preparing fr this means starting right now and doing it each time you have a possibility of making a link exchange with a high pr website. Do not leave the preparing for the last weeks … as this needs to be done whenever you have a opportunity.  Exchange links and start updating regularly .
