It’s 2 weeks since I’m using Ban List wp plugin and I can say – it really does the work . Basically I ban the ones writing spam comments (the basic buy Viagra thing) and I suggest setting all comments in “put to moderation” in your admin section, as there will be unwanted advertisement and bad image to your blog/website. The program is easy and offers much of all :Banned IPs:, Banned IP Range (examples: 192.168.1.1-192.168.1.255) , Banned Host Names ,Banned Host Names (examples: .sg , .cn , .th), Banned Referrers (example : google.com  ) , Banned User Agents , Banned Exclude IPs: (No Wildcards Allowed ;These Users Will Not Get Banned) , Custom Ban Message .

So much of interesting and usefull stuff.  I will “unleash” my ban list for other bloggerz to evitate SPAM :
