As many of you webmasters either based on total seo or advertising probably used at least any of the following analytical systems to track down and count traffic:

Google Anaytics : probably even the name already resembles the accuracy of the software that counts each visitor. besides the visitor numbers it has lots of other cool tools you need to see inside. the analytical account is absolutely free as it helps webmaster a lot, and the better performance webmasters have … the more they re-invest.

AwStats : the most popular analytical too. appears in each hosting package with the cPanel. Everyone uses it. It is still one of the most popular but not quite accurate.

Well I should probably say that awstats shows at least 10 times more unique visitors /day than goolge analytics.  So … which should you trust ??? I say google, not only because it is made by the most genius programming minds in the world, but also because it can show exactly where the visitor came and hist after destination.

BTW: WordPress Plugin – Shortstat show a enlarged stat too …

I’m re-entering adwords ppc advertising. (Using MCC) Had vouchers redeemed, created ads, all got approved, never the less my account is waiting approval. I’m loosing time and money. Facebook denies my dating ads. Although all rules are respected, and my ads are perfectly designed, facebook is full of dating ads and mods are made to deny automatically most of the new ones. Most of the people I spoke too said adwords account approval takes up to a week , even 2 days if you’re in the US zone. That’s what means living in a communistic country.

So waiting for ads to start… will post as soon as they do.

- Try reading the whole policy … well at least points 4 and 7;

- Create dating ads 1 by 1, wait until each gets approved or denied as they mostly deny all at a time;

-Prepare for disappointment (I get 30 bad news till I get 1 happy email confirmation);

-Target each add with a couple of cities (it will get nice on approval);

-Smaller age distance will do good;

-No dating for bisexuals (As for the 4 policy point: each dating ad should target from a gender to only one single interest:make/female);

Never send a “go to hell” email to facebook like I did … Only 13% of my ads get accepted.  Money loans was my failure on facebook … having lots of impressions but no signup leads. Drink a beer before creating relevant ads.

I have a really nice manager at neverblue, name’s Bryon. He kindly helped me in answering to a “dilemma” I have came upon on facebook. None of my dating niche ads are getting approved so i asked him if there’s any reason for this. He actually told some pretty interesting facts:

Facebook is skeptic upon mentioning ‘We are the best…’ I don’t think facebook (or the search engines for that matter) like it when people use Best, better, worst etc… in their ads. Now what I have also heard is that facebook is really cracking down on dating ads because they apparently  have found that dating is ALL OVER facebook and they wanna tone it down a little.

Another thing im thinking is happeneing is FB wants to see more specific geographic targeting. I have heard that FB finds geo-targeting to better reflect their ideal user experience and thus makes getting things approved on FB more likely.

I saw many online marketers asking each other about their choice between the 2 most popular advertising places : facebook and adwords. I am going to answer this by my own practice and hope I receive comments here …

I can say that both of them are better and beat each other … but only depending what you advertise, for example:

- i realized that my loan and insurance ads run pretty good on facebook and receive lots of click, unfortunately the signups were almost insignificant; so this is an example that facebook filtering can’t solve this.

- on adwords on the other hand the loaning is the first ad I saw working for me.

The idea is to use the filtering methods to decide the product you will sponsor. for example facebook can target people from regions/country, by age, sex, interest, social status(single, married, etc.) , so what would be the product that would be best filtered to the exact sort of visitors? A good one would be dating.

Dating is the primary product on facebook, having the most relevant filters, which google can’t offer.

-on the other hand google (besides targeting) has a keyword filter, on which you will know for sure what the client is looking for. therefore google would be best for loaning offers, insurances, advertisers being 99% sure they offer the link to a person directly interested in their product, not just giving away some bucks.

So … what did we learn … ? : Understand the filters to decide the product you will advertise.

Google: (has keyword filtering) so it is best for loaning/insurance offers.

Facebook: (has the ability t filter by age, sex, status, relationships, etc) so it is better for more social products like dating.

As I’ve mentioned in my previous post I got accepted at neverblue. in this post I’m going to speak about the opportunities they give:

1) They take it serious when it comes to accepting so no losers apply and destroys relationships between advertisers and companies. This way the traffic is higher, products are sold and payouts are higher.

2) The platform is the best ones, as most of the tools they offer. It is quite simple to navigate and gives all the info like : link, target, accepted targeting , etc. Not like crappy old cj java …

3) All the best offers a there as they’ve got a really strong filtering when it comes to them.

4) Highest payouts.

5) You get a manager which can be contacted anytime via any contact form : email, phone, cellphone , msn ,etc. Which till now answered all my questions.

6) Tools are one of the things keeping neverblue closer to the clients, compare to other companies related. Tools may be simple such as reporting, but also useful like country redirecting … that’s right .. country redirects ;D .

Well, I’ve just started my CPA at facebook and just getting the first ads approved but I know it’ll be great. If you need accepted, let me refer you, as they usually accept those referred.
